36 players consisting of SPH Golf Card members and guests took part in the club’s April Medal held on 19 April at the Lake course at Raffles Country Club.

For many, this may be the last time playing at the 36-hole golf club before it closes in July to make way for the KL-Singapore High-Speed Rail.

In partnership with adidas Golf Singapore, four lucky participants had the opportunity to pick out a brand new outfit from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2018 range to wear during the Thursday game in a pre-draw contest.

“The apparel from adidas Golf is great! It’s very cooling and fits comfortably,” says Sharon Yeo, one of the lucky winners of the contest. The other winners were Angeline Poon, Patrick Wong and Koen Ponnet.

After a short rain delay, golfers were treated to the most ideal playing conditions – clear blue skies and calm winds for the rest of the afternoon.

The Bullseye Challenge, a favourite among the monthly medals with a $10 participation fee, almost saw its first winner since the challenge started at the beginning of the year. Marlon Azores, put his ball within the two feet radius of the par three 16th, but as he did not join the game, he did not qualify for the prize.

General Manager of Sph Golf Club, Benny Teo, was present to give away the tournament and lucky draw prizes which included shoe bags, pouches, caps, golf training aids and an adidas Golf cart bag as the top lucky draw prize.

SPH Golf Club congratulates all the winners of the April Medal with special thanks to sponsors, adidas Golf Singapore, Big Fish Golf and FENIX XCELL.
